Come on baby, light my (source)fire

Entire Productions had the pleasure of working with a fabulous client for their corporate event this past Leap Day. Sourcefire was a great group to work with--we got to bring in some of our wackiest acts! Our lighting team did beautiful work with the tent, to boot. Plus they make me laugh.

We had sexy showgirls greeting the guests and whimsical lumi-light dancers mingling with the crowd. Can't forget the showstopping hoop dancer and the unbelievable contortionist. I saw a ton of videos being taken!
These costumes get HOT but our LumiLight dancers never stop  twirling and shakin' it!  Much love to you girls!

As always, Blueprint Studios' decor was perfection! Aces Up provided an authentic casino experience for the guests--what a blast! We brought in fabulous MC Calvin Ku and had one of my favorite DJs spinning--DJ Jason Mitchell. Gotta love a man in a suit :-)

We *heart* Reason To Party

We were honored to be a part of this amazing event held at the W San Francisco. It was the Reason to Party Gala, and was attended by 600+ good looking' Bay Area movers and shakers!

7 x 7 magazine wrote an article about it here, and gave us a great shout out! For this one we brought in cool lasers, hazers, uplighting, as well as the sound and had DJ Dylan from BLVD spinning AND playing drums!

We worked right alongside one of our favorite production partners Blueprint Studios  It is such a joy to work with fantastic, creative and NICE people! Love to Kaia!

This is a great organization, very worthy of their name, Reason to Party. Check them out!

Fall Excitement (Lights, Lumi, and Love!)

Doesn’t it always feel like just as you’ve finished digesting Thanksgiving, the winter holidays are upon you? No different for us here at Entire Productions. We’re happy to report that we had an amazing fall season and we’re moving forward into the holidays with a full plate! Here are some of the highlights of what we’ve been up to the past few months:

We had a blast in October working with the W San Francisco for their Restyle Launch Event on October 19th. (See the Photos here) Providing all the lighting and sponsoring an eclectic mix of ambient entertainment, the Restyle event was so much fun to work on. We had aerialists twirling above the guests’ heads, contortionists perched on top of revolving doors, stilted walkers interacting with party-goers and illuminated dancers weaving throughout the crowd. Our lighting team headed up by Dylan McIntosh built an 18'  custom truss for the aerialists to dangle from, and tailored a sensational lighting design to compliment the newly remodeled bar and lounge area. Not to mention the serious wow-factor they delivered lighting the exterior of the hotel. (But really, these guys are like an army of super-creative, tech-savvy spider-men).

It was amazing working with the W team, and we were lucky enough to be there again in November!

November 11th, Entire Productions partnered with the W Hotel to execute a client’s 35th birthday party. This client pulled out all the stops for his costume party and we helped him do it! We brought in creative event lighting and over ten performers to interact with the crowd and set the tone of the party. Sometimes I can’t even believe how awesome my job is. Being up way past my bedtime is totally worth it when we see how happy our clients are and how much fun our performers and guests have!

Happily, we got to share how passionate we are about what we do when our Founder and Creative Director, Natasha Miller, was asked to be a speaker at the first ever ISES MPI joint meeting on November 15th, "The Big Bang: How to Produce Events with Impact," at the Nob Hill Masonic Center.

Natasha was part of a panel of meetings and special event industry professionals coming together for the first time in Northern California to share insight about creating sensational events—corporate or social! She gave the audience the inside scoop on what it’s like to be an entertainment vendor in our industry, and the ways in which planners can maximize the utility of their vendors. It was our pleasure to sponsor all the lighting and musical entertainment during the networking reception, as well. We were in good company with Cort Event Furnishing who supplied the lounge furniture and Global Gourmet who catered the event.

On December 2nd Entire Productions was proud to donate the entertainment for the Symphonix Holiday Party at One Leidesdorff. For those who aren’t familiar, The Symphonix League is the young professional association of the San Francisco Symphony, dedicated to raising funds for the Symphony's music education programs while cultivating the next generation of symphonic music enthusiasts. Americano Social Club provided the perfect backdrop for sipping cocktails and spreading holiday cheer.

Entire Productions AV -Oakland City Center
…And speaking of holiday cheer—we’ve been busy all over the bay area bolstering holiday spirit with music and entertainment. You may have seen our performers and musicians at the Westfield Centre on November 25th—we had ladies dancing, pipers piping (well actually trumpeters heralding but close enough) and dancing candy canes and elves! We also had the pleasure of producing the Oakland City Center tree lighting ceremony on December 1st in partnership with CBRE and Lake Merritt/Uptown and Downtown Associations. This free, community event featured cookie decorating, photo ops with Santa and his elves, adorable snowball ballerinas from the Oakland City Ballet, roasted chestnuts, and of course amazing music. D Lucca warmed up the crowd with holiday favorites before Mayor Jean Quan helped us light the tree.  We finished up the evening with a fantastic performance from the Oakland Interfaith Gospel Choir. Have I mentioned that I love my job?

If you’re kicking yourself that you missed it—never fear! We still have more holiday entertainment scheduled at the Oakland City Center. Wednesday, December 14th come to the plaza at noon to catch West African Highlife Band and enjoy the Red Hot Chachkas on December 21st! We also have another holiday gem coming up in San Francisco on the 19th...our very own Natasha Miller is performing her annual holiday concert at Yoshi’s on Fillmore, not to be missed.

From all of us at Entire Productions we wish you a colorful, joyful, musical, feastful (it’s a word, I swear) holiday season!

Unveiled Was So Sweet!

We were part of the first-time ever in San Francisco Unveiled show produced by the gals at Plan A from Los Angeles. It was so much fun, lovely and featured Stanlee Gatti and a Vera Wang fashion show. Sponsored by San Francisco Brides and Martha Stewart Weddings, it was a well-attended event. Everyone had a great time!

It was a more intimate bridal "faire" than most, and the vendors were all pretty super-duper amazing, talented and creative. I had the pleasure of being next to Blu Bungalow and photographer Gustavo Fernandez who took a few shots of us and our booth.

We gave these CD's to our guests. © Colson Griffith
Many thanks to Heather from Wish Social Events for doing the floral for our booth. I would NEVER be able to do anything with flowers, except put them in a vase. And they wouldn't look right no matter what I did... thank God for floral designers!

We had pianist Ben Stolorow play the baby grand at the venue (Terra) as people were milling about sampling the decadent chocolate from TCHO and other bites from the caterers. My favorite were the appetizers by The Other Woman and the cake from The Whole Cake. A-mazing! My favorite Fork & Spoon Productions were there too with their usual amazing yumminess!

See photos of the show and the booths from photographer Colson Griffith here.

We had DJ Jason Mitchell spinning for the Vera Wang fashion show.

Fantastic Vintage Paparazzi!!!

We've been working with beautiful event planner/designer Lisa Feldman for the last year or so. You HAVE to check out her site and her work. It's fabulous!

She plans a lot of Bat/Bar Mitzvah's and for this one, hired our vintage Paparazzi  to entertain as guests arrived. How fun is that?

They come donning vintage wear and camera gear. The're humorous and interactive. Having received information about the client and event, they "interview" people as they enter the event space.

Carnival, Steel Drums & Santa!

We were very happy to send a Brazilian Dancer a la Carnival style, a Steel Band group, as well as a Santa Claus to the City Club in San Francisco's Summer Soiree! I know it sounds a bit all over the place, but they held a beautiful event to showcase their amazing venue decorated for different seasons.

Carnival!
Most of our clients think we only send out musicians, and are surprised we also have models, dancers, photographers and DJ's. We basically have it all, and love what we do!

Harry Best and Shabang!
